So this time last year little old me of Lux photography was embarking on one of the most exciting days of the year. I got to go to the lovely Natalie Leech Photography studio in the picturesque place of Derbyshire.

The drive was pretty fast, mostly on the motor way and the weather was good. My nerves were getting to me a lot and I had to stop of couple times :)

When I arrived I entered Natalie’s studio space, I was in pleasantly delighted. It was just what I expected and more. I couldn’t wait to get stuck in. It felt like I’d been there before, the place just made you feel comfortable. Everything around you and even Natalie reflected her brand and work. She had so my beautiful props :)

Throughout the day I got to ask lots of questions and photograph the different set ups. It was nice to see someone that has photographed

over 300 babies that it’s true that newborns are unpredictable :) We got to photograph baby Kendal and she was a little diva :)

I couldn't wait to implement some of the things I picked up from my time at Natalie’s studio. Looking back I think the investment in my training as helped push my newborn and baby photography work so far over the past year. I think I've got the training bug again (watch this pace :) Thanks Natalie :)
